Setting individual SPAM filter settings

The SPAM filter settings in your email program located on your computer (ie. Outlook Express or Mozilla Thunderbird) can only attempt to separate the email you have already received. To change the SPAM filter settings on your account so that they are caught in the server filter you must follow the following instructions.

Mozilla or Internet Explorer Interface

Go to http://mail.smgazette.com and login to your account using your username and password. Once you are logged in, click on the Utilities folder on the left and click SPAM Settings.

Change the Spam Detection Level to your preference. The higher the value, the more restricting the filter will be. You can also change the treatment of the SPAM email. Click Save.
